Oh no you don't

I have a problem with deleting phone numbers in my cell phone contact list. Call it laziness or whatever, but I simply do not delete numbers from my cell phone. This means, of course, that I have numbers of people I met five years ago and don't keep up with any more. I mean, seriously, how many people in your contacts do you actually keep up with? Not many. Its not like it matters much to have their phone numbers anyways, its not like you'll ever text them, its just a little bit of memory in your phone.

But then there are those numbers you really shouldn't keep because you end up contacting these people when you absolutely under no circumstances should be contacting anyone, or have a phone in your possession for that matter. In my case, and in the cases of my friends, they tend to be dudes who we should never text. I'm sure we've all had those times. But yet we still don't delete those numbers, or we attempt to delete them and then, somehow, they end up in your phone yet again. If we cant delete them but cant contact them...how do we remind ourselves that its a bad idea to contact them. The solution...labeling the numbers, not with names, but warnings.

or my personal favorite: TEXT ME IF YOU WANT TO SEEM LIKE A NUTCASE, this probably needs more explaining, but for my own purposes we'll just say it has to do with a flaming meltdown on my part and leave it at that.

Life would be so much easier that way. Because even when you want to text said person, a blaring warning comes out at you from your phone. If you ignore that then, well, I'd suggest giving your phone to a friend for safekeeping.
